Still tired from all the hard cement work. Those buckets weigh a lot!

Result is a new floor in the tower room - level with the existing floor in the living room.

Wiring and plumbing in the kitchen

Electricity, water input, waste output: nearly all are set for the kitchen.

 

Will it stick this time?

Another layer of paint on the ceiling. This time oil-based: better in the humid, cold weather.

Other work done

 The cupboards have been plastered and floors in cupboards have been pored.

Endless painting

Three days ago I was very proud of my progress in the tower room; the ceiling had been painted twice, and it looked great. But the cold weather and the humidity made it impossible for the water-based paint to dry, and it started to drip off the ceiling :-( So this week I can start again, with a heater and oil-based paint this time.
